Xiaomi Mi 8 Youth edition is now available from today. This time the smartphone has come up with a pressure sensor in display fingerprint sensor apart from just the rear mounted one.

The price for the smartphone has been set at Rs 14800 for the model that comes with the 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal onboard storage. The model with 6GB RAM/64GB storage gets a price of Rs 18000, and 6GB RAM/128GB storage gets a price of Rs 21200 and will be going to be available in three gradient color options. The smartphone is up for sale starting from 25th of September.
Operating system and Display
The dual sim Mi 8 Youth smartphone runs on the MI User Interface on top with Android 8.0 out of the box and bears a display of 6.26 inch LCD panel with a top notch.
The smartphone is powered and supported by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 AIE SoC, which is paired with the RAM of 4/6 GB according to the model and 64/128/256 GB of storage.
On the optics department, the smartphone sports a dual rear camera setup with a 12 MP primary sensor and a 5MP secondary sensor with an aperture of f/1.9 with dual phase and AI-powered functionalities. On the front part, the smartphone has a 24MP Sony IMX600 selfie camera which is best for taking selfies and doing video calling.
The handset if fueled by a battery of 3350 mAh which is a non-removable one under the hood, with support for the quick charging 3.0.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 Youth Edition is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, 3G and 4G. Sensors on the phone include Face unlock, Fingerprint sensor, Compass/ Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
With respect to the specifications, the smartphone is good and has all the latest advanced features; the only limitation comes is of the price, as the price of the smartphone is too high, some of the other competitor’s smartphones are available at low cost with all these features.
