Though practically, the everyday use of the apps are limited and the number of apps differs between the two, the popular apps are available on both. While play store has more free apps than the app store. Best mobile games are available on Apple first and not necessary they come to android. As far as, quality is concerned, Apple wins the race. About the battery, android overpowers apple. They both provide power saving mode, wireless charging, and fast charging. Basic calling and messaging functions are good on both. The default email apps can be easily and quickly used, having third-party email apps. They both have a high-quality camera which is equally good and fast. While android having more variations because of OEMs which adds more features, especially the Pixel 2 phones provide best smartphone camera. Now we talk about, photo backup in both, photos can automatically backup all photos and videos using the app or google photos. Android and Apple have voice assistants, security rooting, bootloaders and jailbreaking, accessories etc. For me, android and apple provide almost all features. As far as security and privacy matter my choice is an apple because with touchID and FaceID in iPhone X. But the fact, is this being a general customer who needs variety within pocket I would personally opt for Android though it needs some research at the version of its Android and the updates made by the manufacturer.
